Prompts marked with [brackets] are placeholders — swap them for specifics about your product, and the output gets dramatically better. These are templates we refine over time, not one-shot magic words.
Product & Positioning
- Act as a product strategist. Here is a description of [product]: [paste description]. List the 5 most likely objections a [target customer] would have before buying, ranked by how often they would come up.
- Compare [your product] against [competitor] on these axes: price, ease of setup, and [specific feature]. Be honest about where the competitor wins.
- Write 3 different one-sentence positioning statements for [product] — one focused on speed, one on cost, one on outcome. No jargon.
Content & Copy
- Rewrite this headline 5 ways, each leading with a different benefit: [paste headline]. Keep each under 10 words.
- Here is a paragraph of technical documentation: [paste text]. Rewrite it for a reader with zero technical background, without losing accuracy.
- Turn this list of features into a list of outcomes a customer would actually say out loud: [paste feature list].
Research & Strategy
- I am evaluating whether to build [feature]. List the 3 strongest arguments for building it and the 3 strongest arguments against, based only on what is in this brief: [paste context].
- Summarise this customer interview transcript into: (1) the core problem in their words, (2) what they have already tried, (3) what would make them switch today: [paste transcript].
Code & Technical
- Review this function for edge cases I might have missed: [paste code]. List only genuine bugs or risks, not style preferences.
- Explain what this error means in plain English and list the 3 most likely causes, ordered by probability: [paste error and relevant code].
- Write a test plan — not the test code itself — for this feature: [paste feature description]. Include happy path, edge cases, and failure modes.
