- ML model training, custom data pipelines
- Major scope changes mid-sprint
- Compliance audits (SOC 2, HIPAA, DPDPA)
- Migrations from legacy stacks
Build Studio FAQ
What founders ask before they sign.
It needs the Product Sprint, not the MVP Sprint. The MVP Sprint is scope-locked at 4–6 weeks for one user journey. If your v1 has multiple journeys, an admin panel, or AI features, you’re a Product Sprint client.
Two options. (1) You take the codebase and run with it — full handoff doc included, you own all IP on final payment. (2) You sign up for the Maintenance Retainer at $1,995/mo for ongoing design + dev work. About 50% of clients pick option 2.
Two-week post-launch bug-fix window is included. Real bugs only — feature requests and "while you’re at it" tweaks are out of scope. Clear distinction in the contract.
Yes, you have access to the staging environment from Day 14 of any sprint and can inspect everything. The codebase moves to your Vercel + Supabase accounts on launch day; final payment unlocks IP transfer in writing.
Small clarifications: free. Anything that adds work: a written change request, quoted separately, signed before I start. I’d rather slow down for a day than ship the wrong thing.
Yes. Standard mutual NDA before discovery. If you have a custom one, I’ll review and sign reasonable terms.
Ready to scope a sprint?
Spend 3 minutes on the intake form. I'll send back a fixed-price scope within 24 hours — usually faster.
